Hiked up to my favorite local lookout point over the Shenandoah river hoping for unspoiled snow and a sunset. I found both and had a great time shooting and even found a few new comps in the process. The hike up there was harder than I expected. There was still probably 6-8" of snow on the ground and while a few people had hiked up before me the trail wasn't really packed down. Thankfully I had plenty of time to make it up before the sun set though I was huffing and puffing pretty good when I got to the lookout:)
