Maybe not a fair title but the golden rays filtering over the hills and ridges of the Appalachian mountains reminded me of the often photographed Palouse in Washington State. This photo was shot at Bear Rocks Preserve on the eastern edge of the Dolly Sods wilderness in West Virginia.
